STRESS MANAGEMENT THAT WORKS
Most Stress Management programs teach ways to
prioritize and systematize, but they
don’t
get to the root of the problem and they often
require so much work that they aren’t worth it!
Rather, true stress management starts with what’s
between our ears--our belief systems and our thought
habits. This hands-on class takes real sources of
stress from each class member and guides the
learners through a series of simple step-by-step
processes for reducing stress and learning to enjoy
a deep relaxation that is the birthright of every
person.
Directly or indirectly, stress probably causes more
physical illness and emotional discomfort than any
other factor in our society. Back pains, stomach
problems, addictions, and may other illnesses, and
well as relationship woes, family strife, career
struggles--the list is endless! Stress also
exacerbates many other causes for disease as well,
such as improper diet, alcoholism, lack of exercise,
and many emotional disorders. A stress management
program is essential in creating a wellness
environment. Discover simple principles and
techniques for cutting down on stress, while increasing
effectiveness and enjoyment of life and work.
CREATING A WIN-WIN ENVIRONMENT
Every work challenge can be met with ease when teams
understand and utilize the win-win principle. This
strategy results in optimal solutions and peak
efficiency for each individual as well as for the
whole. The win-win perspective takes individuals out
of positioning and "being right" into a natural team
approach that is exciting, interesting, and
effective. The win-win approach puts aside the need
to compromise, for it is based on the premise that
to every problem there is a solution that is greater
than any one individual might conceive alone. With a
win-win perspective, competition is simply
stimulating, for there are no losers, only winners.
Fear, negative reinforcement, and disagreements
cease to have a place in a business that is win-win
focused. Discover how and where to apply this
imperative tool for succeeding in today's world.
HOW TO BREAK HABITS and ADDICTIONS
When the mind is focused and undistracted by useless
habits and addictions, each person can be fully
present for the relationships in their lives and the
job at hand. Learn how to set up healthy patterns
and habits of efficiency by instilling a sense of
personal mastery and efficacy. Attention to detail
becomes the basis of pride in one's work, no matter
what the level within an organization. This program
also gently addresses issues of addiction, which are
often ignored within the workplace unless job
termination is being considered, yet which cost
employers billions of dollars every year. This
seminar is not a replacement for appropriate
addictions treatment when needed, but does teach
participants how to identify the deeper causes of
habits and addictions that are unbeneficial, and
offers strategies to replace them within the work
and home environments with useful, effective ways of
meeting challenges. It also offers employers the
opportunity to address individual addiction problems
through education being presented to the group as a
whole.
PARENTING MADE EASY
Okay, well, parenting will never be easy, but it
certainly can be easier! We tend to parent the way
our parents did (even though we swore we never
would.) But there are some basic principles and
procedures that, when put into effect, will lighten
everyone’s load. Parents will find their jobs much
more delightful, and children will gain in
self-esteem, self-discipline, and a positive outlook
on life. A few simple guidelines and some supportive
practice make this class a favorite.
